With some challenges Pride Photo Award has managed to organize yet another great edition. The contest delivered a lot of diverse images with innovative storytelling, poignant and moving stories and impressive portraits.
 
The jury, which exists of international experts in the world of photography, was very happy with the great diversity in photographic styles and subjects. The jury selected the twelve winning series and gave three special mentions. Together they tell a varied story about sexual and gender diversity.
 
The winning photo came from the series ‘BOY’ from the British/Iranian photographer Parisa Taghizadeh about her son who was very fond of colorful things that are mainly associated with girls like nail polish, bracelets and masks.
