2015 contest starts: tell us your Stories of Love and Pride!

We are excited to announce that the 2015 Pride Photo Award contest is a go! We can’t wait to see the submissions to this year’s competition start flowing in.

This year’s categories are: Gender, Open, Single Images and a category dedicated to the general theme of 2015 – Stories of Love and Pride. The competition aims to explore and celebrate sexual and gender diversity so we’re looking for a wide range of interpretations of these categories.
How you communicate diversity is up to you, the important thing is to show us what the world of sexual and gender diversity looks like through your lens.

You can submit a series of photographs to tell a story in all the categories except for the category Single Images. This is a separate category for single images only so we’re expecting to see strong, compelling photographs with a life of their own.

Once again we have a team of highly esteemed judges who will select a first, second and third prize winner in each category and the main prize: one single image that will win the Pride Photo Award 2015. Finally, they can give Special Mentions to series or single images. This is your chance to impress them and to also get your work seen by an international audience that is growing every year. Also, if you win first prize in a category or the main prize, you will be flown to Amsterdam to attend the Award Ceremony on Friday September 11th.

So be honest, be proud, but most importantly be pro-active and send us your photographs before the deadline: June 14th!
