In June the Midzomergracht Festival in Utrecht invites us all to celebrate sexual diversity! Pride Photo Award is honored to be part of this initiative, which has become one of the biggest LGBT cultural happenings in The Netherlands, for the second consecutive year. A selection of winning photos from Pride Photo Award 2013 will be on display indoors and outdoors June 2nd until June 30th.
Midzomergracht Festival is an annual festival in Utrecht featuring art, culture, music, debates and more around the theme of sexual diversity. The aim of the festival is to show the diversity and foster acceptance of the ‘pink’ community. This year, the festival runs from June 20th to June 29th.
Like last year, the selected images will be displayed in three different locations throughout the city. An indoor exhibition will be held at the building of Dienst Burgerzaken, Arthur van Schendelstraat 500. At the same time, an outdoor exhibition on large photo panels will be displayed in the Griftpark and in front of City Hall, Korte Minrebroederstraat.
The exhibition at Dienst Burgerzaken is open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9-17 h; Tuesdays 9-20 h and Thursdays 13-20h. All exhibitions are free of charge!
The exhibitions are made possible by the City of Utrecht.
