Laat zien dat je staat voor een divers en tolerant Amsterdam, doe mee aan Look at me!

Als er ergens een stad is waar mensen zichzelf kunnen zijn, dan is dat wel Amsterdam. Die vrijheid en tolerantie moeten we koesteren en uitdragen. Door mee te doen aan het doorlopend fotoproject Look at me! kan ook jij de diversiteit en solidariteit van Amsterdammers laten zien.

Look at me! is geen wedstrijd, maar de kans voor Amsterdammers om zichzelf ‘in the picture’ te zetten en tegelijkertijd een statement te maken tegen homofoob geweld in de stad. Pride Photo Award nodigt daarom alle stadgenoten uit om een fotodrieluik over zichzelf te maken door drie digitale foto’s in te leveren:

1. Ik (zelfportret, wie ben jij)
2. Mijn familie (de mensen die voor jou belangrijk zijn)
3. Mijn droom (waar ben je trots op, wat wil je bereiken)

 Via deze link kunnen deelnemers hun digitale foto’s voor Look at me! inzenden via deze link .

Alle ingezonden fotodrieluiken waren in september geprojecteerd tijdens de expositie van winnende foto’s van de internationale fotowedstrijd van Pride Photo Award in gebouw Het Sieraad, Postjesweg 1 in Amsterdam West.

Show your support for a diverse and tolerant Amsterdam

If there is any city in the world where you can freely be what and who you want to be, it is undoubtedly Amsterdam. The tolerance and freedom of this city are attributes to cherish and expand. To do this we are introducing the citywide photo project Look at me!

Look at me! lets you be part of a project showcasing unity, diversity and freedom for fellow Amsterdammers – and beyond! It is not a competition. It is a chance for all Amsterdammers to be in the picture while also taking a stand against homophobia.

Look at me! is a continuous project of Pride Photo Award. We are inviting you as an Amsterdammer to take three digital photos and send submit them through our website.

1. Me; a Self-Portrait: who are you?
2. My Loved Ones: the people who are important to you
3. My dream: what do you want to achieve, what you are proud of?

All submitted photos were displayed throughout the month of September at the exhibition in Het Sieraad, Postjesweg 1 in Amsterdam West, alongside the 2011 Pride Photo Award winning photographs.
